Tracy Turco
How do you condense a prolific artist’s quarter-of-a-century career down into a single user-friendly website? That was the challenge when the colorful artist, designer, author, hotelier, entrepreneur and style icon, Tracy Turco, approached us. Her need was to maximize her online presence, which at the time was not doing justice to what has been - and continues to be - an amazing career at the forefront of style and design.
So we went about combing through the hundreds of images, press clippings, videos and TV appearances that Tracy has been a part of over the years. It was as much a curation job as a design and writing project, as we additionally authored her new biography, her history as one of New York’s and now Palm Springs’ prominent style icons, as well as profiles on all her ventures over the years including her fabulous vacation homes, hotels, tea and shoe businesses, plus a whole lot more.
We created her new “Design Diva of the Desert” tagline, and then incorporated her colorful designs as a backdrop to produce a stand out, eye-catching website that perfectly reflected her own aesthetic. With her “rockstar” logo sitting proudly at the top, we think it’s a superb site befitting her prominent status after so many years of success.
