Bagel Belt Bungalow
We love a good interior design and styling job, especially when we have the opportunity to source so many amazing vintage pieces. That was the case with this home that now displays a treasure trove of 60s and 70s collectibles.
We designed the warm colors of the furnishings to highlight the impressive built-in wooden wall detail and cabinets in the lounge, and had a lot of fun coming up with the tiki bar look in the sun-filled room overlooking the pool.
When it came to the exterior, we re-landscaped to introduce succulent plants more reflective of the desert, and restored the pool surface while adding a ‘Baja’ tanning shelf. We also introduced the yellow and white cabana striped awnings for a pop of Palm Springs color reminiscent of The Parker’s Lemonade Stand.
Since our makeover, the home has hosted a number of fashion shoots and been used numerous times for advertising work as well as a location for period TV productions.
