Palo Fierro Estates
Palo Fierro Estates is known as an iconic mid-century community in Palm Springs that has been maintained in its original period style. The condominiums have original terrazzo floors, tongue and groove ceilings, and groovy metallic fireplaces, so when it came to the interior design style it was all about staying true to that retro aesthetic.
And that’s what we did, with a warm color palette of yellows and oranges in the open plan living area, represented by the beautiful curved orange sofa, yellow cushioned walnut dining set, and other accompanying elements.
Contrasted with this were the cool tones of the bedrooms, that each matched their respective bathrooms, the master in blue, and the second bedroom in green.
The pops of color certainly helped the property stand out as a vacation rental while still offering a genuine mid-century look, and all done within a budget that may surprise too.
