Capital Bee

When Jerah first contacted us he had no name, no brand and no solid outline of what his business was about, but he did have a superior understanding of the new and complex world of crypto currency. Luckily he came to the right place as Desert Society keeps itself abreast of the latest developments in design, technology and culture and so we had a good grasp on the crypto marketplace too.

So we set to work coming up with a name for the new consultancy and settled on “Capital Bee” (and the descriptor “digital asset consultancy”) as it was all about growing their clients’ Capital, while the “Bee” part of the name not only stood for “Blockchain”, (the technology driveing the digital economy), and also “Bitcoin” (the pioneering digital currency) but also represents the humble yellow-and-black bee itself which gave us the brand colors.

Bees are fascinating creatures that work together within a blockchain-like infrastructure, and they’re also integral to the eco-system, much like how cryptocurrency is increasingly becoming integral to the world financial system. The design of the “CB” logo cube also reflected the blockchain basis of the crypto financial industry as well as the solid building blocks of knowledge in the world of digital assets that Capital Bee was to impart to their clients.

From brand design we moved onto website design, writing the extensive content and designing a high-tech looking site that needed to impart trust and strength to a target market that encompassed entities from individual investors to major corporations. FAQ and Blog pages were incorporated not only as information resources but to assist with search engine optimization as well.
