Bettie Page: Aphrodite Rising
When author Kimberly Us discovered some of our ‘midcentury’ inspired graphic design work, she knew we were the ones that had to design her latest book cover. The book was a fictional piece based on the life of the famous and iconic pin-up star, Bettie Page.
Our idea was to make the cover look like it it was a “well thumbed” paperback that was a relic from Bettie’s era… complete with creases, rips, yellowing paper and dog-eared corners. We also developed some social media posts for Kimberly so she could promote the book too.
