Riviera Gardens Glam

Following a slick remodel that produced a very upmarket and contemporary aesthetic, Desert Society decided on a glamorous-looking Hollywood Regency style to furnish and decorate this house-sized condominium.

This was no better exemplified by the glass and glistening gold dining table surrounded by 6 luxurious blush pink velvet chairs that we set into the bay window under a low hanging glass ball chandelier. That table was part of a set that meant it matched perfectly with the console table and the living room’s coffee and side tables to produce a seamless look.

Meanwhile the adjacent gold and grey velvet stools chosen for the kitchen counter coordinated flawlessly with the backsplash tile, while the gold trim worked in nicely with the super cute golden bar cart they are near.

Moving through the expansive living area, past the colorful cocktail-inspired wall art, for ample seating we adorned the lounge room with a pair of deep blue velvet sofas, ideal for watching the TV that was set atop an impressive gold-trimmed media console centerpiece.

When it came to the bedrooms, the oversized master received a beautiful green velvet king bed, white and gold nightstands, and large green leather-look lamps, all set in front of some striking green lattice wallpaper that introduced some perspective to this long space. Matching the nightstands, a gold and white desk was also placed, with a green velvet chair echoing the bed’s color and texture. On the walls, some green summery photography from the legendary Slim Aarons’ reflected the vacation vibes.

The second bedroom received a sharp-looking white, black and gold color palette, starting with the fancy metallic wallpaper behind the black velvet and gold trimmed king bed. This was flanked by the black nightstands upon which sat the distinct white and gold pineapple lamps, while a furry black bench in the bay window provided seating.

When it came to the exterior, we dressed the patio with a stylish 4-seater round dining table under a black and white umbrella, a pair of sun lounges so you could catch some sun, and created a little cactus garden in keeping with the desert vibes of the location.
